Baby Kitty

Recently Jess got a baby kitty from someone she goes to school with. The mother of the kitty passed on, so they need to get rid of them. When she first got the cat it was 3 weeks old. It is now 5 weeks old still without any name besides baby kitty. The cat is still too young to eat solid food, so it drinks out of a little bottle. This cat has tons of energy and all he wants to do is play play play.

I have been spending a lot of time with the kitty, since Jess is busy with school. The pics are from the cat's adventure on my desk today. He really enjoyed playing with that pen.

We have yet to name it, so if you have ideas post them as a comment. Im sure their might be more post in the future with the kitty. This is his official introduction to those of you who have not seen him yet and all you out there in the blogger world.

Did some say Die Cut?

Just sharing on of my favorite websites with you because of there upcoming book, which you can pre-order now. (I will give you the link later on)

Most of you already know that I am a Graphic Designer but for those of you who didn't, you do now. So I am constantly checking out new designs and one of my favorites is packaging design. A while ago I found an awesome that site that posted tons of good package design. The site is called The Dieline(www.Thedieline.com). Ever since I first visited it, I keep checking it multiple times a day.
The Dieline posted saying they were going to be creating a book of all the good design. Recently they announced that you could now pre-order this book through Amazon. The book is only $23, which is not bad at all. However the book does not come out until March 3rd, so you still have plenty of time. Here is the link the pre-order the book. Preorder your copy today!

Since I am telling you about sites I like, I have to give a shout out to my friend Chris Luessen's blog called Quiet Hours. There is always good stuff on here, so check it out. Click Here to go to his blog.

Pwning n00bs and taking names

Just giving some updates on current and upcoming video games. These are all ones that I have played or games I am looking forward to their release.

"Batman Arkham Asylum"

In recent years there has been a lack of good Batman video games. The closest thing to it has been Lego Batman, while that game is fun it's not a true Batman game. Lucky for us Batman Arkham Asylum does not disappoint at all. This game doesn't really follow the stories set by the movies and has more of a comic book influence. From start to finish I couldn't stop playing this game and enjoyed every second of it. The only down fall is that the game seemed kinda short. I bought the game on a Monday and beat it on Wednesday. The game does offer options besides the story such as collecting all 240 riddles hidden by the riddler and a challenge mode. Although the story has many villains there are still a lot left out. The good thing is by doing the riddles, they unlock many villains bio from the comic books.

"Ninja Turtles Smash Up"

Ninja Turtles Smash Up just came out for the Wii today(Tuesday). This is basically Super Smash Bros but with Ninja Turtles. For me this isn't a bad thing at all. I enjoyed playing the Super Smash Bro games and I am a huge fan on Ninja Turtles, so this is a win win for me. This game offers arcade mode, mission mode, survival mode, battle royal and online play. So far I am enjoying this game and I think the online play is going to keep it fun and interesting.

"Red Steel 2"

Red Steel 2 is set to come out sometime in early 2010 and is the highly anticipated sequel. I have not played the first Red Steel but it was one of the first games to come out for the Wii. I have heard good and bad about the first one. After seeing the footage for the second one and i can't wait for it to come out. It offers a unique options of using a sword and a gun as your weapon and in the new one you can do use them within seconds of each other. This a big improvement from the first. I have heard that in 2 you do not need to play the first one to understand whats going on but it does want me to make me play it. With the Wii Motion Plus being used in this game I have high hopes for this game.

"Skate 3"

It has just been announced that EA is making Skate 3. The success of Skate 1, 2 and then Skate-It has lead to Skate 3. I own all of the Skate games and love them all. Skate has been a breath of fresh air from all the newer Tony Hawk games. The game is still in the very early stages and much hasn't been release but they have released a teaser.

It has begun...

Welcome everybody to the first blog post. In this blog there will be no set subject just a bunch of randomness and ramblings.

It always seems like whenever your bored there is never anything on TV, but whenever you have something to do all the good shows are on. Well, for the longest time I just missed out, but not anymore. I recently got DVR and thought it would be useful but quickly realized how awesome it is after using it tonight(Thursday). Tonight alone I recorded Bones, Fantasy Factory, Community and Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

"Community"

The episode of Community was the series premiere tonight. It's still early on being only one episode but I enjoyed it. The best line, "If i wanted to learn anything I wouldn't have gone to community college". Having Chevy Chase and Joel Mchale in the cast gives the show a lot of promise. The show also played music from Matt and Kim and thats definitely a plus.

Time to do nothing,
